I am a qualified solicitor with a wealth of experience in dealing with legal matters relating to Wills, Probate & Elderly Care. This area of law, sometimes referred to as Private Client, covers a vast array of legal matters from tax & inheritance planning to setting up provisions for residential or nursing home care.

My specialist areas include wills, trusts, the administration of estates, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work.

I am also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

No-one really wants to think about what will happen in their old age or as a consequence of their death but I can advise individuals and families on the best course of action to help them plan effectively for the future and ensure that appropriate provisions are accounted for. This will make things far easier to manage and arrange if and when circumstances change and also ensure that an individual’s wishes are respected.

• Keighley born and bred, I attended Bradford Grammar School and then the College of Law in Guildford and Chester.
• I qualified as a Solicitor in 1980 and since then have always practised law in Keighley.
• The law obviously runs in my blood as I am the third generation of my family to be involved in the law. My father was a solicitor and my grandfather was a litigation clerk, both of whom also worked in Keighley
• I am married with two daughters. In my spare time I enjoy badminton, gardening and DIY as well as being the secretary of my local Village Hall Management Committee.
