Abbi Gallacher

I joined Waddington Turner Wall Solicitors in October 2024 on a part-time basis, whilst I complete my LLB law degree at Edge Hill University. In 2026, I graduated with 1^st class LLB (Hons) Law Degree.

Having completed my degree, I am working full time in the Wills, Probate and Later Life Planning department (also known as Private Client) to continue my training and qualify as a solicitor. I want to be a valued and knowledgeable asset to the amazing team here and my clients. I aspire to develop my skills and knowledge to become the best solicitor I can be, through dedication and a strong work ethic.

I am enjoying my time at WTW Solicitors as there is a wide variety of work and challenges which I am constantly learning and developing from.

A typical day consists of:

Dealing with potential clients on the telephone and face to face.
Taking initial instructions and brief background details from a client.
Arranging convenient appointments for clients.
Creating files for clients and entering information into our Case Management System to ensure continuity of correspondence and documentation.
Typing letters, statements, documentation and file notes.
Taking messages from clients and other solicitors via email and post.
Advising clients of any updates or progress on their individual cases.
Ensuring all client files and correspondence are kept tidy and in chronological order.
Providing reception cover during lunch breaks and holiday periods.
Plus covering reception and dealing with any other administration tasks the business requires.
